Aloha, my name is Nina and my closest friend, Shaina Forsyth and her brother both lost everything in the Lahaina fire. They escaped with their animals, cars, and very little else. Shaina and Seth were both born and raised on Maui, where they attended King Kamehameha III school, lahaina Intermediate school, and of course Lahainaluna Highschool. They were both so proud to finally be able to own their own homes, just blocks away from each other. Both lost everything, as did so many in the Kahoma homes where Shaina lived and Lahainaluna Rd where Seth lived.
