Patrick Grady has been a Lahaina resident since he was 2 years old. He is my boat captain and like a father to me. He is known by all of his community because of the good-hearted human he is. All of his livelihood was burnt to a crisp a few nights ago in the Lahaina fire. He lost everything. He escaped running through flames and is alive with just a shirt on his back. Everything gone. Cash, IDs, home, clothes, EVERYTHING. Gone in the blink of an eye. He is staying at my place for the time being since he is now homeless. Every penny donated will be going directly to Pat to help him as well as many of his dear friends get back on their feet. He would never ask for anything and doesn’t even know I am setting this up for him. Anything is a blessing because he has nothing. Mahalo from the bottom of my heart.
