Aloha my name is Kilohoku I am fundraising for my dear cousin Lilinoe and her 2 children Kinohi and Kahaʻiku. I want to let any family or friends know that she and her kids are safe. She and her family as well as many others were affected by the Lahaina wildfires. Her apartment complex was completely burned down to the ground, and they lost everything they owned. She is a single mama who works hard for everything for her and her kids. Regardless of the fact that she lost her home she has been working so hard trying to help out her community in Lahaina with collecting supplies/essentials, and making sure everyone is okay.
She is not one to ask for help ever! If you know Lilinoe, she is always the one to lend a helping hand whenever someone needs it, no if ands or buts. Since her apartment burned down she has not once asked for anything and her guilt of being alive keeps her from asking for the help she needs and accepting the help she needs. Which is why I wanted to create this space to allow people who want to help her and her little family get back on their feet to help relive any stress that has been brought upon them. Any donations received will be given directly to Lilinoe and be used to help relieve her of monthly bills, much needed essentials, and a place to live. It can take a while for unemployment and other assistance to kick in and that is the last thing on these peoples minds after what theyāve gone thru. This is gonna be a long road to rebuild and recover for the Lahaina community and I understand many others need help as well.
But if you feel in your heart to donate, please do. No amount is too little and appreciate any amount donated. I appreciate you all and the help so she can focus on her kids and get some sort of normalcy. We are also accepting prayers! Please pray for my cousin and the Lahaina community during this hard time.”
