The Rickard’s are a mulit-generational family deeply rooted in the Lahaina community. They are a close-knit, loving and devoted family that has supported Lahainaluna and the community for many years. The family has produced Police Officers, Nurses, Teachers, and Coaches that serve the community of not only Lahaina, but the entire island of Maui.

Their families share the same street of residence and suffered tremendous loss, a total of 5 family homes including all belongings and vehicles. In total, 6 families have been displaced homeless, among them are 12 adults and 6 children with one on the way. From this, they will need to rebuild and start with nothing. In addition, many of the adults are out of work at this time. Teanu and Todd Rickard are continuously working tirelessly through the devastation as a police officer and equipment operator with Public Works.
