Laurie Allen arrived to the ICU burn unit as a Jane Doe with 60% of her body burned. Eventually they were able to identify her and contact her husband who was still in Maui. He flew to her side fighting for the last seat on the flight. He later found out she was delayed by helping her landlady evacuate. She is fighting for her life while he stays by her side in the same clothes he was in when the fire broke out. He can’t comprehend what the future will hold so we are trying to do that for him.
