Aloha everyone, my name is Theressa, but many know me as Tessa. This is my family. What started as hurricane winds QUICKLY turned into a brush fire. My family and I got separated during this time as we all left at different times & in different cars. My uncle, younger brother & I got stuck in traffic at Front street where mulptiple fires started surrounding us.

Many people started to leave their cars & so did we. The 3 of us had to jump over the brick wall & down to/into the waters while sitting on rocks for over 6 hours. along with that, we were carrying and holding our 2 dogs. We have a few minor burns from flying embers, and luckily nothing too serious.
