Brandi Castro Tartios

USD

Aloha. I’m calling out for aloha and support for our ‘ohana in Lāhainā who lost everything in the devastating wild fires. The quaint green house on Paunau Street no longer stands. It has been in the Castro ‘Ohana for generations. They worked so hard for that home and raised many beautiful keiki and mo’opuna there. Brandi Castro Tartios, loving know as “Aunty Bran” to all of her nephews and nieces, is a long time employee of Lahainaluna School and is one one of the most caring and selfless people I know.

She resided in that family home on her own since losing our aunty. Despite losing everything in the fire, she still looks for ways to take care of her neighbors and community before her own needs. She is not one to ask for a handout which is why I am doing this on her behalf. If you find it in your heart to share what you can with her, you would be doing something life changing for a really good person. Mahalo. Ke Aku pū.
