I hope this message finds you with warmth. It’s not in my nature to reach out like this, but we’ve experienced a heart-wrenching loss that has taken away our home, our beloved pets, and our means of living caused by the Maui, Lahaina wildfire. At the moment, we stand vulnerable, with the flames having claimed all that we held dear. My mom, dad and grandma were a part of the many that got stuck and had to run towards the ocean to seek refuge.
Leaving most of the few belongings they got away with, in the car that was engulfed by flames. Our other family members only escaped with the clothes on their backs. We’re getting organized by reaching out to our insurance, staying with family but are learning our few resources leave us extremely vulnerable.
Your generous support would touch the lives of five families ( Gudoy, Dumayas, Ramos, Agmata, Cordova) all of whom once called 496 Kuai Place their home. No gesture is too small, and your kindness would mean the world to us.
