Hi, my name is Heather. My aunty Sally, uncles Prudencio & Fernando and cousins, Stef, Jason & Samantha lost their home in Lahaina, Maui during the brush fire on 8/8/2023. They evacuated from their home which was engulfed in flames to the Lahaina Civic center. Then ordered to evacuate once more to Napili park. With no to very little resources left. And signal on their cellphones. They decided that once the road opens back up, that they’ll make their way back to Kahului & wailuku. My cousin Samantha called me as soon as they reached Maalaea. She asked if they can come to my house. And without hesitation I said come!!! And with the grace of god they are all accounted for and safe. They’ve lived and serviced Lahaina, Maui for more than 23 years. Proud church members. They are people that give and expect nothing in return. They are left without a home to return to. Please help them recover and heal from this devastating loss. Anything helps all funds will be used to help recover from being displaced during this difficult time.
