They had just moved into the Kaiaulu O Kupuohi apartments. Joe was stuck on Hoiokio Rd all night watching the fire and trying to get into Lahaina and his family including two grandbabies were at the apartments when the fire started. Thankfully they all made it out in time and are all reunited in Wailuku.
