My sweet cousin Ashlee Lyles and her family lost both of their homes in the Lahaina fire this week. Fortunately, they were able to escape safely with their pets and cars. Other than that, their homes and all personal belongings were literally incinerated. Ashlee and her family are long-term residents of Lahaina and work in the hospitality industry on the island. Not only are they family of mine and a big part of the Lahaina community, they are amazing individuals and trying to figure out what to do next.
