My beautiful cousin Atar, her two children, Ari, age 11, and Kai, age 6, and their father Marc reside in Lahaina on the island of Maui and have lost literally everything. Marc’s place of business burnt to the ground and they will need to likely relocate and start from scratch in terms of belongings ranging from toothbrushes, clothing, furniture, and homes.
