Aloha, My name is Britni Ayudan. I am born and raised on the island of Maui. Recently, our lahaina people and homes have experience tremendous loss as a brushfire has burnt the entire town. Over hundreds homes and businesses have been destroyed. This funding is to support the families that have been affected as well as my own due to this uncontrollable brush fire. Many losing lives trying to put their homes out of flames. The ones who have found shelter and safety now face the heartbreak of being displaced. Our county is completely overwhelmed with multiple fires all throughout the island. This funding is to support Lahaina but also all of Maui county as they will be completely overwhelmed with lack of resources. Whatever you can spare, whether you are from there or a neighbor Island or have even visited this beautiful place, please donate to help lift these families out of devastation Together we stand, Lahaina Strong, Maui strong!
