My name is Chantelle Baclay and with my family’s permission, we have created this gofundme to help assist us with our family’s needs as we process the loss of our home on August 8, 2023. This tragedy is something that we never expected to happen to us as well as the community. We have become one of the many families displaced without a home after a fire broke through our Lahaina community. Like many families, we rushed to evacuate our home as the fire progressed leaving us without our possessions. My family and I are extremely grateful that we are safe and evacuated from the area.
