I’m organizing this fundraiser for Nick, Jen, and the kids (Eli, Reilly, Noah) who have lost everything in the Lahaina fire. Nick and Jen were both raised on the island and have poured so much into Lahaina and the people there. To own a home there had been a dream, and no longer than 3 years after they purchased, the home was destroyed. It has been confirmed that their insurance will only cover a minimal amount. In addition to relocating and rebuilding expenses, Nick’s entire business (Maui Outboard Service) burned down.The Bennetts are staying with friends in Kahana and are thankful to be together; know they are more fortunate than many. But still, this giant loss will affect their future greatly. Let’s rally to make this transition easier!
