As a family, we are celebrating the fact that our family is safe and together. However, Papa Ceferino and Mama Claudia Bumagat lost their home along with their daughter Claudine Malayan and her family of five (including a 3 month old) and Christian Bumagat and his family of four. Currently Charlie and his wife are hosting everyone in their 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home in Central Maui.

This is the tragic story of these fires—one home but so many layers of family and life affected. This fundraiser is to help provide for the family’s immediate needs such as school supplies for the kids and diapers for the baby and food to feed everyone but also for the future process of rebuilding their home and their lives.
