Hello my name is Chelsie Tau-a and I have a family of 4, my fiancé Corey Powell and our boys 5year old Makkel and 7 year old Malik. We were living at the KHAKO Lahaina shelter for about 2 years up until the Lahaina fire. From the reports we’ve found, our unit and all of the other buildings on the property were burned to the ground along with everything we own. We were lucky enough to escape with a small duffel bag of clothes.
I have started a gofundme to help us recover a portion of what was lost and I’ve started a Venmo as well. I will link both below thank you! We can be listed as Tau-a Ohana. Please let me know if there is a discrepancy with the vetting process as I kept my life very private during the last couple of years for safety reasons and I will provide a letter of verification from KHAKO shelter thank you very much!
