Near the end of the following day, August 9th, the Claydons received confirmation that the house they have called home for the past thirteen years was consumed by the fire. They have lost nearly everything.
The material loss is still sinking in for them, and it is not what is most important to them. As has always been, it is the people – the relationships – that they care about. But we who love them also want to help them tangibly. We want to help them cover the expenses that will soon come – rent, security deposit, household items, clothing, etc. The money raised from this fundraiser will go directly to the Claydons. I am already overwhelmed by the number of people from all over who are asking how they can help. Let’s love on this family who love and care for everyone they encounter.
