Hi, my name is Jamie Fujii and I’m fundraising for my family of 5 as well as my grandparents. My family not only lost our home but everything else we had owned. We were forced to leave all belongings behind while evacuating at the very last minute. As for my grandparents Juliana and Camilo Cortes that lived at the Hale Mahaolu center. Fortunately, they were able to evacuate in time but lost their home and belongings too. They are left extremely vulnerable now requiring living assistance for their medical and handicapped needs. My younger siblings and I were trapped in the fire and almost couldn’t escape. We are glad to be alive and reunited with each other.
