” Lahaina, my sweet little home for the past 12 years, is gone. Luckily my boyfriend Royce narrowly escaped the destruction with our car and cat Brewer, but nothing else. Our entire home burned to the ground. We are in shock and don’t know where to start. I have never asked for help, but I am in crisis. The sewing business I have built over the last seven years is completely gone. All four of my sewing machines were lost including my $4,000 serger that made every bikini for my business. I lost thousands of dollars just in fabric and supplies, not including all of our other possessions that were left behind. One day I will bring my business back, but all funds will go towards purchasing basic necessities for me and my family.
