My name is Lauren Yee (I am from O’ahu), I am organizing this fund on behalf of my close college friend Janeen Higuchi and her Aunt Lynette Ruppert. They suddenly lost their home, valuables, and two cats in the devastating fire that went through their hometown of Lahaina, Maui on August 8th. This was Janeen’s childhood home and I can’t imagine how it must feel to lose a home filled with so many memories.

Thankfully Janeen was able to evacuate safely and her Aunt was not in Lahaina at the time of the fire. Your monetary donation will support any emergency expenses, living essentials, and any additional needs in the coming days.
