Hi my name is Erin and I’m from Maui. I am trying to help my grandpa and my uncle (his brother) raise money to help supply them food, clothes, & other essentials that they loss in the fire. Not only did they lose there house and everything they need but they also loss memories of my deceased great grandma and great grandpa that we can’t get back. When I got a hold of my grandpa he told me he was outside with a carpenter trying to fix up there house when the wind blew him trying to catch his fall, the fire then began to get bigger and bigger as the wind was soooo strong that they could already feel the heat of the fire coming there way, so of course they needed to evacuate ASAP, as they weren’t able to grab what they needed.
