I want to thank all our friends and family for all the love ❤️and support we are getting during this difficult time. My daughter in Cali has created this “gofundme” page because so many have asked how they can help or send money to us. My husband and I started out with nothing back in 1980, with hard work and determination we owned three homes that housed three generations, the wild fire in Lahaina took all three homes, we all got out with only what we had on.

We also had our painting company that we also lost in the fire. We are so thankful we got out about 1/2 hour before the fire took Lāhainā. It was a horrifying experience. My heart goes out to those who lost love, ones. Like most have said “Lahaina is Stronge”, with a disaster like this and being on an island it will take longer then most think.. so many displaced.. they need to change the infrastructure, the area we lived in was the old plantation housing down by the sugar mill, The streets are to narrow with only one way out, if they do not widen the streets in the neighborhood we will have the same thing happen again.

On Kuhua st, a large mango tree fell over cutting off the only way out for most, people had to leave their cars and run. We are not as young anymore but we have an 86 year old mom we help care for and grand kids age 1 & 4 that we housed down the street, we will start over and rebuild. We have to stay strong!! Mahalo for all your love and support! ❤️
