Thank you everyone for your support and prayers during this time of emergency. My name is Robert Chang III (Ekolu) and like so many on August 8, 2023 we lost nearly everything due to the Maui Wildfire.

We were lucky and fortunate enough to leave with some supplies and our vehicles as the storm took everything from us and families that ended up losing so much more. My mother, Kim Chang, has been a Lahaina resident from birth and lost all sentimental reminders of her childhood. Everything we know and the lives we live have changed over 72 hours, but the support of Lahaina and the love being shown will last for generations to come.

I would like to say thank you and god bless all that have shared and donated thus far! While things may seem uncertain, my family and I are extremely blessed to have people like you that give us a window of hope for what comes next.
