My name is Emi Yamauchi and I am trying to raise funds for my sister-in-law Lori. Lori was born and raised in Lahaina, Maui where she has been a school teacher at Lahaina Intermediate for many years. She and her daughter escaped the flames Tuesday evening with literally just the clothes on their back. A family member has confirmed that her husband was able to go by the house today and it is in ashes. The catastrophic extent of this fire has turned their community to ashes including Kam Elementary School, churches, and many local businesses. We are asking for any help that you are able to provide. We would like to raise $5,000 to cover the cost of food, shelter, and immediate living expenses while they figure out their next move.
