Hi, my name is Kaila and I am organizing this for my mom, Laura Sakamoto, who has lost everything, including our outdoor cats to the devastating wildfire. My mom is having difficulty getting basic necessities and I have just moved to Oahu for law school. This fundraiser will help my mom figure out long-term accommodations until our house is rebuilt, clothing, food and medications for her cat, and any other necessities for rebuilding. She is unsure of when she will be able to return to work so this will help her survive until then.
