Hi my name is Patie. My brother Nelson has lived on Maui (from Honolulu) for over ten years working as a sous chef at many of the local restaurants in Lahaina. He had been a sous chef at Hui Hui named Pap’aina located in the Lahaina Harbor which burned to the ground. He and his children were able to escape the wild fires of Lahaina with the just the clothes on their backs.

He also worked at the resort Kaanapali, but the restaurant was bought out by Outrigger Resorts and laid everyone off. All my family’s memorabilia are now gone but the Ohana is safe and out of harms way. Appreciate any help given to help the family get back on their feet.
