“My parents have lived in Lahaina for the past 30 years. My wife and kids were living with my parents in Lahaina at the Kupuohi Apartments. I’ve been traveling back and forth from Maui to Oahu for work. Sadly when all this happened, I wasn’t here. My wife was able to get my parents and the kids out of the apartment just in time to make it out.”
