As many of you are aware, countless families lost their homes in the Lahaina fires on August 8, 2023. We know so many of these families personally and our hearts are broken for them. Among these families is my brother’s family. Pedro, Kika, Lucas, and Nicolas (Nico) lost everything but each other to the fires. Pedro and Kika recently visited what remains of their home and confirmed it was completely leveled .Unfortunately, there is no way for us to send supplies or care packages to them directly, as Lahaina is inaccessible to non-emergency vehicles. However, please know that they have benefitted from the generosity of donations of water, food, clothing, and hygiene products made to local organizations on the ground providing immediate relief.
