Hello, Two of the most wonderful people you will meet: Sara, and her husband, Kaliko, lost their home in the devastating Maui fires in August so we are fundraising for their recovery efforts. They such generous and kind people and we want to pour all of the aloha and love they’ve given throughout the years back into them. They had to evacuate quickly due to the fires and were only able to grab a handful of things so these funds would be used to help them replace all that was lost, cover costs of being displaced and lost work, as Kaliko worked on Front Street and will most likely be out of work until the restaurant opens again.
Kaliko is a Native Hawaiian and Sara has lived on Hawaii since 2004. Their home was in Lahaina, where they loved spending time in their backyard with their adorable 3 year old rescue dog, Haku. They recently were married on Maui in April, using many Lahaina vendors and locations for their celebrations.They love celebrating all that Maui has to offer and support local businesses and local Hawaiians.
