A wildfire came and claimed the homes of many families including my aunt and uncles house in Lāhaina. My aunt, Emelyn, uncle Erickson & their son, Sherman and his wife and two children, Gigi, Ceos (5) and Angelo (2), were able to evacuate to safety with only the clothes on their backs. Unfortunately, their house and everything they owned was lost to the fire. Hearing my aunt repeat over that they have no home to return to breaks my heart for them as well as the many families in going through this tragic time.
